The visitor centre offers information on programs and events. In the souvenir shop visitors can purchase the products of craftsmen working in the region, as well as books or t-shirts. Our special product is the buffalo, aurochs and grey cattle salami (in delicatessen or spicy flavours).
Exhibitions in the visitor centre
The exhibition on the groundfloor displays the Nature of Hortobágy its rich flora and fauna.
In the first floor of the Nature of Hortobágy Exhibition can be found the World of Cranes – In the footsteps of wanderers interactive exhibiton.
The crane is the symbol of Hortobágy National Park. This exhibition presents this special bird and its relatives living in five continents with the help of interactive devices.
Behind the building can be found the Treasures of the Puszta which is an interactive exhibition and also you can find there a VR room.

The combined ticket is valid for the Nature of Hortobágy, the Puszta Treasure Chest and the Herder's museum
