The opening hours of the exhibitions and attractions in the National Park territory are limited in the winter season, between 1^st December 2014 and 28^th February 2015, please see details as follows:

Hortobágy National Park Visitor Centre

Only in weekends between 10.00-14.00

Closed between 24^th December and 2^nd January

Hortobágy Wild Animal Park

Species of native wildlife, disappeared from Hortobágy, can be seen in the park.

03.11.2014 – 31.03.2015

Closed on 24-26 and 31 December and 1 January

Guided tour starts at 14.00 every day from the parking site of the Hortobágy Csárda.

At other periods between 10.00-15.00, the Park colleagues take up the guests after phone arrangement.

Nature trails and demonstration areas can be visited with national park entrance card. The entrance card is available in Hortobágy National Park Visitor Centre.

Museums

Csárda exhibition can be visited after preliminary booking in the Visitor Centre.

Körszín (Round Museum) and Herdsmen Museum is closed.

Bird Clinic

9.00-16.00

Exhibition about local wildlife and the dangers threatening birds can be visited. Birds recovering from injuries can be seen in the attraction hospital and in large open-air cages.

Puszta Zoo Rare Breeds Park

Only in weekends 10.00-14.00

Closed at Christmas and New Years Eve and Day.

Old Hungarian domestic species, characteristic to the Charpatian Basin, and the tools of their keeping can be seen.

Stud of Máta

Preliminary booking is necessary. Carriage tour must be booked 10 days in advance.
