Visit the Hortobágy Wild Animal Park and learn how ancient wildlife adapts to the winter in the Puszta!

Between 1st December 2014 and 31st March 2015 every day at 14.00 a guided tour starts from the parking site of the Hortobágy Csárda.

After arrival to the park, the visitors can walk along the park's paths and meet animals living here before the appearance of man, but driven to extinction by the spread of civilization, eg. wolves, jackals, Przewalski's Horses, vultures, pelicans. Visitors can also see other wild animals still living in the protected areas such as wildcats, foxes, polecats, white-tailed eagles, cranes, great white egrets. The design of the animal paddocks offer excellent photographic opportunities. An exhibition about the ancient wildlife of the puszta, souvenir shop with buffet and a play ground also serves our guests.

In other times guided tour can be requested on phone: +36 30/564-5773.
After phone arrangement the Park colleagues take up the guests at the Hortobágy Csárda parking place or other meeting site.

Entrance fee: 1500 HUF/adult, 700 HUF/children (3-18 years), to be paid upon arrival to the Wild Animal Park.
Only groups up to 9 persons can be transported. Larger groups should book at least 1 day in advance.
