Group activities

Various programs and opportunities are offered for pre-booked groups. We can organize narrow gauge train or walking tours, with guidance on demand for adults who plan active recreation or for children’s groups of any ages. Cycling tours can be organized as well, and a rent-a-bike service is available at the Hortobágy National Park Visitor Centre.

Our guides present the wildlife of the fishponds, especially the species of the season, equipped with binoculars and telescopes. The Hortobágy National Park Directorate highly emphasizes nature education, therefore programs about the importance and the practical aspects of nature conservation are also available for children’s groups.
